A redirect, resolved on the server
A visitor opens the short address, the code is looked up, and the browser is sent onward. No account, no interstitial and no waiting page in between.
A hand-off attempt, not a guarantee
Where a platform lets an embedded browser pass a link to the system browser, we answer in the way that asks for it. Where it does not, the visitor lands in the embedded view and still reaches the destination.
Not the destination
Whatever is on the other side is published, hosted and controlled by whoever created the link. It is not stored here and we do not endorse it.
Owner-controlled
The person who made a link chooses where it points, can repoint it, and can delete it. A deleted code stops resolving.
